Smart energy solutions provider Hoymiles has now launched its first all-in-one battery energy storage system (BESS), HiOne, as the company looks to expand its presence in Europe’s fast-growing residential storage market.

The product was unveiled at an event attended by photovoltaic (PV) professionals, technology media and distribution partners, alongside the signing of agreements with European distributors to support regional deployment.

Inverter+BESS Solution

HiOne integrates an inverter, battery and energy management system (EMS) into a single unit designed for residential use. The company said the system requires 20% less installation space and 50% less wall space than conventional setups, while offering instant backup power switching during grid outages.

The system delivers up to 98.5% efficiency and features four maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) to support complex rooftop installations. Hoymiles said the unit uses 314 Ah battery cells with cell-level monitoring and is designed for more than 8,000 charge cycles. Storage capacity can be expanded from 8 kWh to 64 kWh through modular battery stacking.

The system is integrated with the company’s S-Miles cloud monitoring platform and an AI-based energy management feature that optimises charging and discharging based on electricity pricing and household consumption patterns.

Modern Home Solution

“Our goal is to bridge the gap between complex technology and everyday life in the home and create a solution that truly fits into a modern home,” said Guy Rong, division manager at Hoymiles.

At the launch event, representatives from SolarPower Europe highlighted the region’s shift toward smart energy management, while TÜV Rheinland confirmed the system meets European safety standards.

Dutch distributor VDH Solar signed a strategic partnership with Hoymiles to bring the product to the Netherlands, as the company positions itself to tap rising demand for residential energy independence and backup power solutions.

Hoymiles specialises in module-level power electronics and energy storage technologies.
