Scalable Capabilities

Each unit offers 261 kilowatt-hours of storage and can be deployed in parallel, allowing capacity to scale from small and mid-sized installations to large industrial parks and microgrids. The system can be paired with solar photovoltaic plants, electric vehicle charging infrastructure or deployed in standalone microgrids, Hoymiles said.

Hoymiles said the liquid-cooling architecture raises power density by more than 20% and reduces auxiliary energy consumption by up to 30% compared with air-cooled systems. The company added that the system delivers a maximum round-trip efficiency of 90.3% and is designed to operate at full output without derating at ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius or at altitudes of 3,000 metres.

Cloud-To-Edge Technology

The product uses a cloud-to-edge energy management system that enables real-time monitoring, automated dispatch and tariff optimisation, with fault alerts delivered in under 100 milliseconds, according to the company. Modular design and quick-disconnect terminals are expected to reduce operation and maintenance time by up to 60%.

Certified to IP55 and C5 anti-corrosion standards, HoyUltra 2 is designed for more than 15 years of operation in harsh environments, including high salinity and dust. The system includes multiple layers of fire detection and suppression and features seamless transfer to ensure uninterrupted power, making it suitable for data centres and other critical loads, Hoymiles said.
