Gujarat: NTPC REL Commissions 212.5 MW Solar Project & 52.8 MW Wind Project
NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has recently commissioned 212.5 MW solar project in Gujarat. This is the fourth part of the capacity out of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat.
It also shared details of the partial operationalization of Ayana Renewable Power's 52.8 MW wind project out of the 92.4 MW (wind) and 37.5 MW (solar) project in a regulatory filing. NTPC REL said this project formed part of a 100 MW hybrid project located in Gujarat. The project was declared commercially operational under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III, effective from August 20, 2025, the company added.
Gujarat Solar Project With Ayana Renewable Power
Furthermore, Ayana Renewable Power, through its subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power Four, a joint venture with ONGC NTPC Green Private, declared commercial operation and partial commissioning of its hybrid project.
The company said, “The part capacity of 52.8 MW wind out of the total installed capacity of 92.4 MW (wind) and 37.5 MW (solar), as part of the 100 MW hybrid project located in Gujarat of Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. and a wholly owned subsidiary of our joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private, is declared on commercial operation with effect from August 21, 2025.”
