GREW Solar Secures 500 MW Module Supply Order from Leading Indian Power Developer

GREW Solar, one of India’s solar PV module manufacturers, has secured an order to supply 500 MW of high-efficiency solar PV modules from a leading power developer in India. The modules will be deployed across multiple upcoming utility-scale solar projects in different locations nationwide.

The order involves the company’s advanced M10R and G12R module series, which are designed to deliver strong performance, reliability, and efficiency under varied operating conditions.

Supply to Support Utility-Scale Solar Deployment

Under the agreement, GREW Solar will provide domestically manufactured modules from its M10R and G12R platforms. These products are engineered to enhance energy output while ensuring stable performance across diverse climatic environments, the company said.

The order reflects increasing demand for high-efficiency, locally manufactured solar modules as developers fast-track project execution in line with India’s renewable energy expansion targets.

Industry momentum toward domestic sourcing, supported by policy measures and supply chain localisation, continues to drive module procurement from Indian manufacturers, the official statement noted.

Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director, GREW Solar, said,  “This order marks an important milestone for GREW Solar and reflects the confidence that Leading Power Developers place in our manufacturing capabilities and product quality. Our M10R and G12R modules are engineered to deliver consistent performance and support efficient project execution. As India continues to expand its renewable energy capacity, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-efficiency modules that contribute to the country’s clean energy transition.”
