Green Stocks Sep 13: Another Strong Week Despite A Wobble In Adani Green Energy

This week closed  with a broadly positive end for the green stocks pack, with even new entrant Premier Energies closing over 100% above its listing price of 450 a week back, despite the losses this week.  Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) posting a 3.00% increase in stock price. Waaree Renewables, KPI Green Energy, JSW Energy, and Suzlon Energy also saw stock price rises of 1.43% and 1.81%.

Tata Power and JSW Energy continued to exhibit strength and the confidence of market players, as stock prices strengthened further during the week after a slight wobble last week. The big surprise has been the fresh legs discovered in the wind twins, Suzlon Energy and Inox Wind, both of which gained despite stretched valuations.  Perhaps the one big loser, Adani Green Energy remains a victim of factors outside the sector, primarily the Hindenberg allegations yet again.
