Upto 665Wp Capacity

“Our IBC-based module will be completely manufactured in-house and can deliver up to 665 Wp output per panel. Unlike conventional panels, the front surface has no visible busbars, while the back features 16 finely designed busbars for improved efficiency,” he said.

To Sense Market Demand

“We have initiated pilot production for IBC modules and are currently working toward obtaining certifications to make them commercially viable. Adopting such emerging technologies is capital-intensive, but we are prepared for it. The next step is to see how the Indian market responds. We would also like to see this technology adopted in ground-mounted projects under government utility-scale tenders,” he said(video available), in an interview to Saur Energy.

Arpit further mentioned that the company is working to make these next-generation modules more efficient and cost-effective for the Indian market. The IPO-bound company currently operates 14.7 GW of annual solar module capacity, comprising a mix of mono-PERC and TOPCon-based modules, with the latter forming the larger share. Goldi Solar also plans to expand its solar cell manufacturing capacity in two phases, with a total planned capacity of 17.2 GW.
