GAIL Invites Bids For Grid Tied RT Solar PV Plant Under KG Basin

Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) India Limited, the state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company and a Maharatna Indian company, released a tender inviting bids to contract, design, supply, install, testing and commission of grid-tied rooftop solar PV plant.

The project included an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with a generation guarantee under Krishna Godavari Basin (KG basin) for a period of five Years.

The tender document mentioned, that the contract is valid for a period of eight months from the date of issue of letter of intent/letter of award (LOI/LOA).

The AMC period is 5 years, which is considered to start after the completion of 1 year warranty period after the commissioning of all systems of all sites.

The bid security/ earnest money deposit (EMD) is for Rs.3,52,570.00

The GAIL bid document mentioned that the declaration for bid security for start-ups and central public sector undertakings (CPSEs) (to whom the exemption is allowed as per extant guidelines in vogue) are required to submit a declaration for bid security as per proforma at Form F-2A.

The tender is available on the website from 08.05.2024 (17:00 Hrs, IST) to 30.05.2024 (13:00 Hrs, IST)

The date and time of the pre-bid meeting is - 15.05.2024, 11:00 IST

The due date and time of bid submission is on or before - 30.05.2024 Time: 13:00 IST

The date and time of the unpriced bid opening is - 31.05.2024 Time: 13:30 IST
