Dharan Infra Enters Renewable Business With ₹260 Cr Order Book

Infrastructure company Dharan Infra EPC Ltd has ventured into the renewable energy sector with the company now setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary to expand into the solar energy and renewable power segment.

Introducing Dharan Infra Solar Pvt Ltd

The new subsidiary, Dharan Infra Solar Pvt Ltd, will operate in the solar power and renewable energy sector, and undertake design, development, and execution of solar modules and hybrid energy systems. The Board of Directors approved the incorporation at its meeting held on June 13, 2025. The company aims to align with India’s push for sustainable development and green technology adoption.

Dharan Infra Solar aims to offer end-to-end solutions for solar power projects, and will engage in a wide spectrum of activities, including the manufacturing, design, development, and improvement of renewable energy modules, cells, and accessories.

Venturing the Green Business

This strategic move of entering green energy space follows the parent firm’s rebranding from KBC Global Ltd to Dharan Infra-EPC Limited as part of a strategic shift to focus on infrastructure and EPC projects. shift in focus toward green infrastructure and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) priorities. Notably, the company already has an active order book valued at INR 260 crore. 

Following the announcement, KBC global share price surged 15 percent in the early session on June 16. 

The announcement came at a time when India’s renewable market is accelerating rapidly toward its 2030 targets and beyond. 

Dharan EPC Infra Ltd, established in 2006-07, is a Public listed company which initiated its engineering & construction business from Nashik, India. The company offers solutions across railways, roads, bridges, Hydro Dam, Solar Farming, Waste to Energy, Low Cost Housing and various types of ports.
