DeyeCloud India Data Centre Goes Live, Focus On Cybersecurity Photograph: (Deye)
Global new energy technology firm Deye has announced the deployment of its DeyeCloud India Data Centre, marking a significant step in strengthening cloud-based support for solar inverters and related equipment in the country. The facility, now fully operational, will back the DeyeCloud system—a digital platform enabling device management and grid connectivity while ensuring compliance with Indian regulatory, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements.
The company said the centre is designed to uphold the principles of compliance and user privacy. All personal and device data will be stored on servers located within India in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023. Deye added that it follows global best practices such as data minimisation, purpose limitation, and transparency, and provides users with options to access or delete their data in compliance with legal norms.
Cybersecurity
On the cybersecurity front, Deye has built a 24x7 security operations and emergency response system aligned with CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team–India) guidelines. This includes log retention, incident reporting channels, and time-bound escalation mechanisms to ensure rapid handling of potential threats.
The company further highlighted its international certifications—ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 27701 (Privacy Information Management), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management)—which it said underscore its commitment to information security, privacy protection, and quality control. Deye also plans to conduct regular compliance audits and third-party reviews in line with Indian regulations.
Scalable Architecture
According to the firm, the DeyeCloud system is built on a flexible, scalable architecture with multi-layer access controls and real-time monitoring. It aims to deliver secure, efficient, and energy-conscious cloud solutions to support both Indian and global operations.
