Indian solar module manufacturer Credence recenty showcased its entire portfolio, spanning from 590 W to 725 W modules at RE+2025 at Las Vegas. The firm said that it received a strong response for its innovative offerings. The company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a U.S.-based company to supply its latest range of higher-wattage photovoltaic (PV) modules, marking a major milestone in its global expansion journey.

With IEC and UL certifications, Credence said is positioned to cater to both domestic and international markets with confidence. Over the past year, Credence has been steadily building its reputation as a high-efficiency module manufacturer. The company unveiled its 725 Wp TOPCon solar modules during the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo in Greater Noida in October 2024, featuring an 18-busbar, 132-cell bifacial dual-glass design.

In early 2025, it secured the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for its 710 W and later 730 W TOPCon N-Type modules, underscoring its commitment to quality and performance. These certifications not only allow Credence to meet stringent global benchmarks but also enhance its competitiveness in large-scale projects.

The company is also in the midst of a significant capacity expansion. At present, Credence operates with around 2.2 GW of module manufacturing capacity, but it has already announced plans to establish a 1 GW solar cell production facility in Rajkot, Gujarat, starting in 2026. This forward-looking investment aligns with India’s broader ambitions of strengthening domestic solar manufacturing and reducing import dependencies.
