Cliantech, Cosmic PV Power Sign Pact For 600 MW TOPCon Production

Gujarat-based solar module manufacturer Cosmic PV Power and Cliantech have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost production of TOPCon technology. The MoU was signed between the two parties at the recently-held Inter Solar event in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Cosmic said that the new partnership would help in adding 600 MW of TOPCon production line for the module manufacturer. With the latest addition of the TOPCon facility, the firm’s total module production capacity would touch 1.2 GW.

Cliantech Solutions is known for its cutting-edge technologies in solar module manufacturing. It has already installed machinery with a capacity of 15 GW. Cosmic PV Power has been manufacturing polycrystalline and mono-PERC till now. Earlier, the firm also announced adding a new TOPCon production line to boost its advanced technology manufacturing.  

Shravan Gupta, Director of Cosmic PV Power, said that the MoU would bolster the module maker’s capacities for TOPCon. He said that it would receive the new line in the next few months. Cosmic also said that a number of new suppliers have joined hands with the firm. As per the firm, it has been able to make around 1800 solar modules per day.
