Cleantech Solar has commissioned around 80 megawatt-peak (MWp) of open-access solar photovoltaic projects for industrial clients at its 275 MWp solar park in Tamil Nadu, the company said Wednesday.

The Singapore-headquartered firm, which provides renewable energy solutions to businesses across India and Southeast Asia, will supply the power generated from these captive projects to corporate clients to meet their manufacturing energy needs. This marks Cleantech Solar’s fifth renewable energy park in the state.

Expanding Renewable Firms 

The new projects serve a range of industries, with several clients expanding their clean energy commitments. Among the companies sourcing power from the park are US-based solar technology provider First Solar, Indian chemical manufacturer DCW, and Murugappa Morgan Thermal Ceramics, which specializes in advanced materials.

The commissioning reinforces Cleantech Solar’s position as a key renewable energy developer in Tamil Nadu and a contributor to India’s broader clean energy transition.
