Chhattisgarh Discom Invites Bid for Rooftop Solar Projects under Capex Model

State nodal agency Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) has issued tender for the empanelment of vendors for the installation of grid connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects under Capex model.

As per the tender details, the successful bidder have to install rooftop solar system of 1kwp to 500kwp capacity for all the willing consumers excluding government connections in the state through rate contract programme.

The scope of work includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning including 5 years of comprehensive warranty for complete installed plant along with further 20 years extended warranty for solar PV module and comprehensive maintenance and CMC for 5 years.

The last date and time for submitting tender is February 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m, while the pre bid meeting of interested bidders will be held on February 04, 2020.

However, bidders can quote separate rate for each capacity range categories of 1 kWp to 10 kWp, more than 10 kWp to 100 kWp and more than 100 kWp to 500 KWp grid connected rooftop solar systems.

Further, the non-refundable bid document fee is Rs 29,500 inclusive of 18 percent GST while the earnest money deposit (EMD) is Rs 2 lakh.

Moreover, the period of empanelment and rate contract of vender will be valid for one year from the date of empanelment.

For the power generation criteria, the declared annual CUF shall in no case be less than 15 percent. The successful bidder has to maintain generation so as to achieve annual CUF of minimum 15 percent value till the end of duration of 25 years.
