CEL Issues Tender For Solar Power Evacuation at Ansarwada SS

CEL Solar Power Evacuation

The Central Electronics Limited (CEL)has issued a tender for deployment of solar power evacuation at Ansarwada Substation for Nilanga subdivision of Latur Circle, Maharashtra.

The detailed scope of work for the selected bidders will include all the land development activities, design, engineering, procurement & supply of equipment and materials required for Solar Power evacuation, pre-dispatch testing at manufacturers works, inspection, packing, forwarding, installation, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of equipments, including two years guarantee period after commissioning of works and five years guarantee period for equipment for the work under “Full Turnkey” basis.

The last date of bid submission is February 28, 2019, and the opening of bids will take place on the same date. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1,92,500 along with their bids. And, the estimated cost of the project is Rs 96 lakh.

As per the tender documents, total work on the project should be completed and commissioned within 3 months including monsoon period from the date of purchase order.

Recently, CEL invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from companies/firms wishing to be considered for shortlisting for participating in the bidding process of the proposed Web Based Solar Monitoring System for tracking of the status/technical parameters of individual solar power plants installed at nearly 200 sites in various districts of Maharashtra.

Earlier this month, it also floated a tender inviting bids for the implementation of 11.12 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) premises across India. To be developed under the government’s Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM).

The tariff cap for the sites falling under general category states and union territories is Rs 7/kWh while for the sites falling under special category states and Its the cap is fixed at Rs 4.82/kWh.
