Australian Premium Solar Starts 400 MW TopCon Plant in Gujarat, Kicks Off 800 MW Expansion
Gujarat-based Australian Premium Solar (APS), a solar solutions provider specializing in Monocrystalline and TOPCon solar modules and comprehensive EPC services, starts commercial production at its new 400 MW TOPCon Solar Module manufacturing line located in Sabarkantha, Gujarat.
This milestone follows the successful completion of trials, marking a key step toward expanding APS’s total solar module manufacturing capacity to 800 MW. The new facility is equipped with high-efficiency production machinery, further strengthening APS’s position as one of the few fully integrated solar manufacturers in India capable of producing high performance TopCon modules.
APS Plans 400 MW Additional Production Line By April 2026
The commissioning of this 400 MW line represents the first phase of APS’s planned capacity expansion, with an additional 400 MW line scheduled to become operational by April 2026.
Nikunjkumar Chimanlal Patel, Chairman & Executive Director of Australian Premium Solar (India) Limited, said, “The successful commencement of our 400 MW TopCon Solar Module line marks a pivotal moment in our growth journey. This expansion underscores our commitment to ‘Make in India’ and positions APS among the select few domestic manufacturers producing next-generation TopCon modules at scale. The new capacity will not only enhance our operational capabilities but will also help us achieve our targeted revenue guidance of 75% CAGR, reflecting our strong growth momentum and confidence in the expanding renewable energy market. With this milestone, we are better equipped to serve the accelerating demand for renewable energy solutions across Indian markets.”
He added that “As part of our long-term integration strategy, we have also initiated plans to enter solar cell manufacturing, which will enhance our value chain efficiency and position APS as one of the few fully integrated solar solution providers in India,” Patel said.
