Assam Tenders for Off-Grid Floating and Rooftop Solar Projects Worth 955 kW

APDCL has issued two tenders for setting up of rooftop solar projects and an off-grid floating solar power plant in Assam worth 955 kW capacity.

The Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL) has issued two tenders for setting up of rooftop solar projects and an off-grid floating solar power plant in the state worth a cumulative 955 kW capacity.

The first Request for Proposal (RfP) has been issued for setting up of 940 kW off-grid rooftop solar projects at various rural primary healthcare centres (PHC) across the state. The 940 kW will be set up as 188 separate projects atop different PHC’s with each system worth 5 kW capacity.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the site survey, design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the projects. The developers would also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the plants for a period of five years. The selected bidders will have a period of 6 months to complete the work on the project.

The last date for bid submission is November 13, 2019. According to the RfP, the estimated cost of the project is Rs 1 lakh, and all interest bidders will need to submit and Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1.5 lakh along with their bids.

To be eligible, the bidders should have an annual turnover and net worth not less than Rs 5 crore in the las three financial years.

The second tender has been issued for setting up of a 15 kW off-grid floating solar plant at the Jor Pukhuri in Guwahati. The tender also includes the installation of 20 LED street lighting systems in the region.

The last date for bid submission is November 8, 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 19 lakh and all interested bidders need to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1 lakh along with their bids.
