Advait Energy Transitions Ltd (formerly Advait Infratech Ltd) has secured contracts from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL) for two power supply projects under its System Improvement Scheme, the company said.

The company emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the projects, which involved the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV medium-voltage covered conductors and related accessories.

The projects cover the Bhavnagar and Amreli circles in Gujarat. Under the Bhavnagar project, Advait Energy will develop an 11 kV feeder network, with completion expected within 12 months. A similar timeline applies to the Amreli Circle project, which also focuses on strengthening the 11 kV feeder infrastructure. The initiatives are part of PGVCL’s broader plan to modernise its power distribution network and improve supply reliability in the region.

“We are proud to have been selected as the successful bidder for these critical power supply projects,” said Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy. “This achievement marks an important milestone in our journey to strengthen India’s energy infrastructure.”

Advait Energy Plans Growth In Solar Segment

Advait Energy, in its recent earnings call, shared updates on its New and Renewable Energy (NRE) segment, particularly its solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business.

Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director, said, “Our other division is providing solutions in the solar EPC and battery storage space. We are focused on developing at least 100 MW of credentials on an EPC basis, of which we are about to complete 30 MW this month.”

He added that the company is currently in discussions for more than 200 MW of solar EPC projects in the pipeline. “We are not undertaking solar projects on an IPP basis. We are pursuing them on an EPC basis with a clear focus on building our first 100 MW of EPC credentials, which will support our future entry into battery storage and green hydrogen,” he said.
