The order covers projects implemented under the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) and the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL), as well as PM KUSUM Component-C installations in Madhya Pradesh. Of the total capacity, 3.2 MW will be deployed for PM KUSUM projects in Madhya Pradesh, with the remaining capacity earmarked for projects in Maharashtra.

DCR Compliant

ADM Solar said the projects will use Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant high-efficiency mono PERC modules ranging from 500 watt-peak (Wp) to 525 Wp, in line with central and state government procurement norms. The installations form part of broader efforts to expand decentralised solar generation, particularly for agricultural feeders, and to reduce reliance on conventional grid power.

In Maharashtra, the projects aim to support solar-powered irrigation and reduce the financial burden on the state’s power distribution network, while in Madhya Pradesh, the PM KUSUM Component-C installations are intended to supply daytime solar electricity to farmers, lowering dependence on diesel and grid subsidies.
