Aditya Birla Renewables Appoints Amit Jain As Its New CEO

Amit Jain, a senior business leader with over 30 years of experience in renewables, energy (power, oil & gas), and telecom infrastructure, has joined Aditya Birla Renewables as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

An EPC sector veteran, Jain has worked across renewable energy, oil and gas, chemical and process plants, power transmission, and telecom infrastructure. His expertise includes developing new markets and managing large-scale projects in complex environments.

As Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, he led a financial turnaround, tripled market capitalization, and spearheaded global expansion. He also guided the company to market leadership in Australia and the United States, delivering 1.7 GW of solar projects.

Jain previously held senior roles at Punj Lloyd, managing multi-billion-dollar oil and gas projects across the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. He also led major telecom infrastructure projects for clients such as Power Grid Corporation of India and GAIL.

He holds a degree in civil engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a master’s in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.
