Adani Group Announces Setting Up Of 30GW Green Energy Park In Gujarat

Gautam Adani, chairperson of Adani Group recently announced the launch of green energy park that is coming up in Gujarat, Rann of Kutch. In the announcement on X a social media platform he shared details of the upcoming green energy park of 30GW. 

“Proud to play a crucial role in India's impressive strides in renewable energy as we build the world's largest green energy park. This monumental project, covering 726 sq km in the challenging Rann desert, is visible even from space.”

He adds that, “We will generate 30GW to power over 20 million homes. Also, just 150 km away, in our karmabhoomi Mundra, we are creating one of the globe's most extensive and integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystems for solar and wind.”

He calls it, “a significant milestone in India's journey towards sustainable energy, underlining our commitment to the Solar Alliance and the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. “

Earlier, on a different project Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced a follow-on funding of USD 1.36 billion (Bn) to further boost its Construction Financing Framework to USD 3 Bn backed by a consortium of renowned international banks.

The renewable energy firm said that the green loan facility would play a pivotal role in enabling the development of AGEL’s next milestone- the world’s largest Renewable Energy Park at Khavda in Gujarat.
