Adani Green Aims To Add 7.1 GW Solar, Wind & Hybrid Assets
Ashish Khanna, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adani Green, during the company’s last investor call, mentioned that the company is on track to achieve its targeted 50 GW capacity by 2030. He said the company is progressing steadily in developing a renewable energy plant at Khavda, Gujarat, comprising 7.1 GW of solar, wind, and hybrid assets, including 661 MW of group projects already in operation.
The company also shed light on potential changes in the hybrid project’s Capital Utilisation Factor (CUF) based on the solar-wind combination. Khanna explained that, overall, wind performance has changed only to a small extent in the current context, even though it is a few basis points lower. He further explained that much of this depends on weather conditions and where the assets are located.
