Kor Energy (India) Pvt Ltd, founded in 2013, is an emerging Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services provider for the solar power plants in India. Besides, it is also involved in the mergers and acquisition for renewable energy projects, along with debt and equity syndication for the projects. The company is also involved in the installation and commissioning of the rooftop solar power plants. In an exclusive interview with Saur Energy International during the 13th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2019, Sushil Sarawgi, Managing Director, KOR Energy (India), shared his views on the current state of rooftop solar market along with schemes like SARAL, government policies, requirement of certifications, impact after winding down of safeguard duty etc.
