Global energy solutions company Hoymiles has now pinned its hopes in its 5MWh Containerized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to boost the reliability of variable renewable energy. The firm said that its HOYDC 5MWh Containerized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) addresses several problems related to the grid security and reliability of green power.

“The HOYDC system delivers next-generation energy storage in a rugged, containerized format that simplifies deployment while maintaining high energy density,” the company said in a statement.

High-Density Design for Maximum Efficiency

The HOYDC 5MWh system features a compact, high-density architecturethat allows more energy storage within a smaller footprint. This optimized design not only saves valuable installation space but also helps reduce infrastructure and transportation costs.

It integrates intelligent liquid cooling technology and thus maintains optimal battery temperatures even during demanding operations, the firm said. Effective thermal management improves efficiency, extends battery lifespan, and enhances overall system reliability. As a result, operators benefit from lower maintenance costs and improved return on investment over time, it claimed.
