Ningbo Deye Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2020 as a subsidiary of Deye said that its Integrated ESS Storage Solution has worked well in India for providing reliable green energy. In a statement, the company said that it focusses on delivering reliable and efficient energy storage solutions worldwide. With a presence in more than 50 countries and supported by overseas service centres, the company has built a strong reputation in the global renewable energy sector, it said.
In India, Ningbo Deye Inverter Technology began operations in 2018 through branding partners, with the Deye brand officially launched in 2022. Since then, Deye India has achieved 5 GW of installations as of October 2025 and is targeting 6 GW by 2027, reflecting growing market acceptance and customer confidence.
ESS & C&I Consumers
Deye’s all-in-one integrated solution is designed to meet the evolving requirements of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) applications by combining energy storage, seamless power transition and intelligent energy management within a scalable, high-efficiency architecture.
A notable example of this capability is a successfully commissioned off-grid project in Coimbatore, India. The site lacked grid connectivity and required a continuous 100 kW AC load to support critical operations. A 160 kWp solar plant was already installed at the location. To ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimal solar utilisation, Deye deployed a comprehensive off-grid energy storage solution integrating the existing solar plant with a 430 kWh lithium battery bank.
This configuration enables stable operation of the 100 kW load and provides approximately four hours of backup at full load. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors voltage, current and temperature to ensure safety and performance. The lithium battery system is designed for approximately 6,000 cycles, delivering long service life and reduced maintenance.
