Job Description

Development responsibilities include customizing of Windchill 10.x ,11.x environment, UI Customization, PDMLink workflows, configuration, business administration, Info Engine and Business rules.

Responsibilities & Requirements:-

  • Responsible for timely project deliverables of multiple development projects, in accordance with project requirements and per development standards
  • Review technical specifications from Tech Lead/Business
  • Analysts for feasibility, assist in solution designing and ensure execution of project per SDLC methodologies.
  • Divide feature requests into granular tasks and provide task time estimates
  • Utilize source control policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of development efforts
  • Author technical documentation and specifications from requirements/functional specifications.
  • Participate in technical reviews and meetings as required
  • Resolve escalated technical issues as needed
  • Provide necessary support in troubleshooting code related issues

Preferred Experience / Skills: Qualifications/Requirements:-

  • BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech / MCA.
  • 5-7 yrs. of Windchill PLM experience. At least 4+ years’ experience in Windchill PLM development is must.
  • Windchill Customization Methodologies (Services, JCA, Template Processors, Info* Engine), Workflow Design, Class Extensions (I.e. Validator/Filter) both server side and UI side.
  • Working experience on Windchill 10. x & 11.x Versions and good understanding of Windchill functionalities
  • Proficiency with Java, JSP, XML and HTML, Oracle/SQL database
  • Sound knowledge of development/customization projects on Windchill PLM.
  • Experience in structure management (EBOM/MBOM)
  • CM2 compliant change management process (CN/CR/CO) in PLM.
  • Proficiency with Query Builder and other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of configuration management.
  • Hands on experience for Info Engine
  • (Windchill), web services and integrations options with other applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and a technical audience
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team across global hubs, and maintain a highly collaborative, transparent effort.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
