System Function & Controls Engineer

• Compliance review of customer requirements
• Create algorithm models and supporting requirements / unit
  descriptions in Matlab/Simulink and Word / requirements tool
• Setup scenario based unit tests for algorithms based on system / SW
  requirements and unit description
• Evaluate measurement data
• Check functionality by model guidelines and conduct model reviews
• Align with the software development
• Support safety with functional reviews

Responsibilities:-

• Development of Steering Control Algorithms in Matlab/Simulink
• Functional requirements and documentation development
• Scenario based unit testing
• Support of customer reviews and discussions

Skills:-

• Bachelor/Master in control theory, mechatronics or similar
• Very good knowledge in algorithm development in Matlab/Simulink
  and targetlink or embedded coder
• Knowledge of Rapid Control Prototyping Tools like dSpace Autobox
• Ideally knowledge of steering, ADAS or brake controls functionalities
• Ideally experience in embedded programming in C
• Experience with modeling coding guidelines (e.g. MISRA)
• Ideally knowledge in automotive bus systems (CAN/FlexRay)
• Good language skills in English
