Sustainability & Decarbonization Leader

With  the  Increased  focus on Sustainability  &  Decarbonization in India  and globally, Emerson had added a new role as Chief Sustainability Officer. Under CSO’s leadership, Emerson has made significant strides, and we are strengthening our leadership position as our customers and suppliers work to deliver their environmental targets. The S & D industry leader will work with Project Pursuit  & Industry Solutions team, Regional Sales team, BU Teams and India S & D team to promote Emerson Innovative Products & Solutions in the prioritized industry segments like Green H2, Ammonia, renewables etc.to drive S & D business growth. He /She will also  work with APAC  S &  D leader and collaborate with Global S & D teams.

Responsibilities:-

• Own India  S&D business target, collaborate with Regional sales organization &  Business  Units   to deliver results
• Work with regional leader and BU sales organization, grow regional S&D industry funnel visibility and manage POR
• As account leader for identified S&D industry account(s), develop high-level customer relationship, including but not limited to executive meetings, frame agreements, etc.
• Identify targeted end users, OEMs, EPCs to drive customer  for  technical exchanges & demand creation.
• Relationship building with both customer, industry communities, Associations  and internal sales and marketing team.
• Independently work &  Collaborate   on proposal, technical exchange, site survey when necessary to make project success
• Deliver interactive  training, and industry value message content within Emerson &  Externally

Educational Qualification:-

• Engineering degree in EE or equivalent.
• Minimum 15  years’ sales, Marketing or BD experience. S &D industry experience will be an added advantage

Required Skills & Knowledge:-

• Self-motivated personality
• Can work under pressure
• Depth of experience needed to identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities
• Flexible for frequent travel to customer sites
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a matrix environment
• Good knowledge of process control and instrumentation
• Occupational Health and Safety Acumen
