Job Description

Currently we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager in New Dehli, India to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Supply Chain Manager you required to provide a Supply Chain management service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirement.

Main responsibilities:-

General:-

  • Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating system
  • Produce and maintain strategic documents, policies, and procedures

Procurement and logistics Compliance:-

  • Implement procurement & logistics policy and procedure for the respective countries
  • Set up and maintain frame agreements that match the strategic objectives of the business
  • Contract management throughout the lifecycle of the projects
  • Recruit and train supply chain staff to support the projects
  • Manage the training and follow up of relevant project specific personnel for the implementation of the procurement policy and procedure
  • Conduct the audit of the implementation of procurement policy and procedure
  • Ensure the implementation of local content and economic development commitments under procurement where applicable
  • Ensure electronic filing is kept up to date

Strategic procurement and logistics:-

  • Responsible for establishing EPC Budgets for future projects in the region
  • Responsible for procurement of assets including spare parts
  • Request proposals, evaluate, negotiate, conclude, and contract service agreements and supply accounts
  • Stakeholder management both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of all areas within warehousing and logistics management to deliver on KPI’s through managerial skills, team work and controlling
  • Analyzing and screening of local markets in order to deliver the project logistics & procurement strategy

Qualifications and competencies:-

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, B.SC in business administration, Legal degree, B.SC QS or similar
  • 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, 2+ years’ experience in a managerial position
  • Delivered at least two PV or Wind projects successfully from start to commissioning demonstrating knowledge in all areas applicable
  • 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy construction projects and specifically on operational assets
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint presentations, MSWord
  • Trained in contracts management (FIDIC)
  • Legal or financial qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, convincing personality, customer, and goal oriented
  • Speak and write English fluently.
  • Independent and self-dependent working
