Job Description

GE Renewable Is looking to transform the Product lifecycle Management processes and the system landscape to deliver process standardization, reduce costs, increase productivity, reduce handoffs between cross functional teams. Teamcenter Is selected as the strategic PLM platform. You will operate with technical product management teams, Implementation teams and business organization to create a clear direction for Teamcenter Data Strategy inclusive of but not limited to Data Archival, Data Governance, Data Migration, Data Analytics related needs for business and support Teamcenter Implementation and convey that vision to internal and external development scrum teams.

Essential Responsibilities:-

  • Work with cross-functional teams from Teamcenter Program Teams to lead and deliver Data Strategy process areas (Data Archival, Data Migration, Data Governance and Data Analytics) used across LM Wind power Business.
  • Lead execution of Data Migration strategy from Enovia to Teamcenter PLM across all Lmwindpower process areas
  • Partner with functional/DT Process Area teams to identify Data Archival approach across process areas
  • Partner with Enterprise Architect/Solution Architect on creation of Uniform Data Archival process and solution design for Teamcenter Implementation
  • Partner with functional teams to create Data Governance strategy and execution approach
  • Lead execution of Data Analytics/Metrics and Reporting needs across all workstreams in partnership with Renewables DT Data Analytics and Vendor teams
  • Support other Renewables Engineering DT initiatives impacting Renewable Energy Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform that is used across the Tier1 business.
  • Understand process & requirements in detail so as to be able to make the right decisions, challenge the teams, understanding dependencies etc
  • Partner with functional process owners to drive Risk Management for Data Strategy workstreams, working the mitigation plan, closure and presenting this during weekly meetings
  • Pro-actively Identifying dependencies and highlighting it in a timely manner
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
  • Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Engage with Architects, development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification for any blockers in execution
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
  • Partner with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product management and Implementation team
  • Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape

Basic Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Manage and/or Business Analysis
  • A minimum of 10 year of experience in working with PLM domain.
  • Experience in supporting/leading Data Strategy related products

Desired Characteristics:-

  • Strong knowledge of PLM platforms and leading execution across different PLM Process areas
  • Strong knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Governance and Data Migration processes and tools
  • Working knowledge of different Data Analytics, Data Migration and Data Governance processes and solutions
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology, Certified Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, QA Processes (testing, Defect Management, etc..)
  • Must be willing to travel (10%)
