Sr. Rotor Performance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Wind turbine performance (AEP) modeling for a wind farm.
• Analysis of field data for wind turbine performance validation.
• Wind turbine performance (AEP) optimization for a wind farm.
• Development of tools and methods to enhance our analysis and validation capabilities.

Must Have Qualifications:-

• Master or Ph.D. in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering with Aerodynamics or Wind Energy
• 8+ years of experience in the field of wind turbine aerodynamics and related domains.
• Excellent knowledge of wake modelling, data analysis and optimization techniques.
• Should be able to write and manage complicated codes in Python and/or MATLAB.
• Demonstrated ability to drive global technology development projects with complex cross functional interfaces.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team environment.

Nice to Have Qualifications:-

• Fundamental knowledge in Machine learning algorithms and it’s engineering applications.
• Experience in CFD (OpenFoam, Ansys).
• Experience in turbine loads assessments and control strategies.
