Sr.Engineer – Purchase (Standard electrical commercial parts)

Key responsibilities:-

• Drive supplier sourcing activities for the sub-category (assessments, selection, resourcing, RFQs, effective sourcing analysis …)
• Act as a Vendor Account Owner for the scope: of negotiation, and business review, …
• Own execution of supplier panel transformation initiatives: resourcing, consolidation, risk mitigation
• Develop a pipeline of cost reduction initiatives and opportunities across all Sourcing leverages
• Ensure consistency of sourcing roadmap data and target achievements

Education:- 

• BE – Electrical or electronics  and Master degree is a added advantage

Experience:-

• 8+ years of Sourcing experience in an international organization

Key activities:-

• Drive Sourcing execution leveraging network across sites globally
• Lead execution of transformation initiatives
• Identification of new sources, negotiation, supplier selection
• Ensure >80% Contract and NDA coverage with all suppliers
• Build up and maintain strategic supplier relationship and ensuring high level of supplier management
• RFQ and TCO analysis
• Phase in / out of suppliers
• Price List maintenance
• Commodity: Standard electrical Commercial Part
