Sr Engineer mechanical – Standardization

Main Responsibilities:-

• Support the SPM Team Switzerland with tasks dedicated to the technical documentation
• Creation and modification of Bobst internal datasheets (Bought out components)
• Management of manufacturer datasheets in the ERP
• Creation of the detail drawings for Bobst internal datasheets
• Management and feedback on the requested jobs via the SharePoint
• Support the SPM Team with tasks dedicated to the classification of standard materials

Education and Experience:-

• Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical with at least 7 years of experience in a technical position

Functional skills:-

• Good knowledge of the standard materials: mechanical is mandatory, fluidic is highly recommended, electric/electronic is a plus
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Expertise in the ERP knowledge, SAP is highly recommended
• Good knowledge in 2D drawings creation and 3D modelling in CATIA V6 or similar
• Ability to get information, documentation and 3D models on manufacturers websites
• Ability to contact manufacturers / suppliers directly to get the required technical data
• Good knowledge on technical datasheet reading, ability to find required information and keep essential data
• Feel comfortable exchanging directly with worldwide R&D team to get the required information / validation

• Communication written and verbal: English mandatory, French highly recommended and German a plus
