Sr. Engineer – Mechanical

Your Responsibilities:-

• This role requires Frequent Travelling or sometimes extensive travelling domestic as well as international.
•  Levelling, alignment of stationary and rotary equipment like tanks, vessels, reactors, pumps, blowers, compressors, chillers, gear boxes etc.
• Installation and servicing of agitators, mechanical seals, gear boxes, valves, polymer extruders, polymer gear pumps, polymer continuous filters, different types of couplings, bearings, hoists, EOT cranes etc.
• Pressure / vacuum testing of vessels, tanks etc.
• Coordination with electrical, instrument and process in commissioning of plant.
• Project scheduling, progress monitoring, daily job planning for contractor’s workmen, work distribution,
• Coordination with PMC/ contractor and end client
• Perform tasks independently following safety regulations of self and team.

Educational Qualification/ Professional & Functional  expertise :-

• Degree/ Diploma in mechanical engineering from reputed institute with experience of  5 – 15 years including working experience of preferably CP Projects in the capacity of Site Engineer /Site Leader.
• Preferred- Familiar with polymer industry and Continuous Polymerization equipment and process
• Understanding plot plans, civil drawings, equipment layout, P&ID, equipment erection drawings.
• Understanding structural fabrication, equipment GAD, equipment fabrication drawings, rigging, lifting, shifting and erection of heavy equipment like tanks, vessels, reactors.
• Familiar with advanced levelling, alignment and vibration measuring instruments and procedures.
• Experience of handling and controlling contractor’s workmen and material Management experience would be added advantage
• Reasonable knowledge of welding, machining, fabrication processes.
• Should be able to on MS office, MS Project, 3-D models
