Job Description

Execution of Electrical and LV works of Airport Projects with high level of safety & quality. This Role will assist in planning, designing and managing the MEP systems. Support in reviewing Designs, tendering with technical inputs, installation, Testing and commissioning of Mechanical / Electrical and Plumbing systems like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting Systems, Execution of Electrical and LV works of Airport Projects with high level of safety & quality.

Design Management: Assist in completing HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting System design reviews for GHIAL expansion project from conceptual stage to detailed designs by coordinating with GHIAL, Operation and Maintenance team, consultants and other stake holders of the Project.  Check the duct, pipe sizing calculations, check the pump sizing and selection calculations; prepare the compliance statements for final review and approval. Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, complying stake holder requirements and project objectives.
Procurement Management: Assist in Coordinating with procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, evaluating new technologies at the time of tender, vendor evaluation and finalization. Review the product data submitted by the vendors and prepare the compliance statement for final review and approval. In-time Procurement, finalization of contractor / Vendor. Project  Quality, time and cost compliance
Construction Management: Under the guidance of Manager – Mechanical, coordinate and ensure the implementation of the Mechanical works with compliance to the Design and requirements of the Project. Inspection of installations of ducts, pipes and terminal devices. Coordinate with Civil team for final fixes. Completion within time, Quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance. Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction
Handing over and Contract Closure: Assist in Handing over completed project to user departments with required documentation, Hand hold the operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. Post operation stabilization; assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all project related contracts. Complying with the project objectives & stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels. Contracts closure without major non conformances’.

 

External Interactions:-

  • Interact with all stake holders of the projects to understand and fulfil their requirements
  • Support in Coordinating with Government agencies like Local Fire Authorities, Local Corporations.
  • Interact with external consultant, Vendors / Contractors for smooth execution of the project.

Internal Interactions:-

  • Interact with other departments like P&C, Finance Technical Service, Operations team, for smooth flow of work.
  • Interact with individual/internal team members for smooth coordination of project.
  • Interact with Senior Management to apprise them about the progress of works.

Financial Dimensions:-

  • Must have involved in the Building services Mechanical works of CAPEX of Rs.01.00 Cr to 10.00 Cr.

Other Dimensions:-

  • Handling team of Supervisors, technicians, etc.
  • Handling of Multiple vendors and stakeholders.

Educations Qualifications:-

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Relevant Experiences:-

  • 6 – 8 years of total experience in Mechanical / Electrical works like HVAC , Plumbing, LV works of Airport Projects and Fire Fighting works in mega projects ( Malls, Hospitals, Hotels and Public Facilities)
