Sr. Design Engineer- Engineered Solution (ITBA)

To adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures to execute the project during project execution, with the objective of delivering the assigned work as per the defined quality and timelines within the limits of GECIA's processes, structure, and guidelines.

1. Design Knowledge:-

• He /She is re responsible for independent project execution from Concept generation phase to design freeze and its documentation in respective define CAD software.
• Study the project inputs and collect data from customer. Validate the data source and content and take decision whether to proceed for design work or not.
• Involve in project kick off meeting with customer. Freeze the scope of work and tentative project delivery schedule. Discuss projects scope of supply, Project delivery schedule, rough concepts design, identify any potential roadblocks.
• Design tooling knowledge used for bolt tightening, riveting, or robotic applications are added advantage. Prepare all manufacturing drawings along with appropriate GD & T, Material, & assembly drawing for manufacturing release.
• Status Reporting and Query Resolution
• Resolve customer's technical queries. Ability to solve shop assembly problems & provide relevant solution to issue. Involve internal design reviews and seek help of Project leader if any queries.

Software’s knowledge:-

• Solid Works
• PDM/PLM/Work front/SAP/Windchill/Teamcenter added advantage
• AutoCAD
