Key Responsibilities:-
- Use PVSyst or similar PV yield analysis packages to generate energy yield analyses, using Black & Veatch’s approved methodologies.
- Complete standardized sections of reports, describing the design of the solar PV project and the results of its yield analysis.
- Review design drawings and technical aspects of utility interconnection agreements and offtaker agreements Develop a general understanding of electric power commercial and regulatory practices.
- Develop clear and concise reports and presentations. Contribute to multiple projects at any given time.
- Organize reports and data in a centralized database Management Responsibilities Individual Contributor
Preferred Qualifications:-
- General knowledge solar PV technology and plant design. General knowledge of solar resource datasets and their respective strengths and weaknesses.
- Experience with Python, PowerBI and PowerApps or other tools that facilitate automation of analysis and reporting will be highly regarded Human relations skills including collaboration and team functions, particularly in a remote working environment.
- Exhibits high ethical standards and maintains a reputation of integrity Ability to interface with multiple projects, offices and cultures.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. High level of attention to detail. Process-oriented. Accountability for on time, on quality delivery.
- Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering. At least 2 years of experience with one or more solar PV energy yield assessment platforms, specifically including PVSyst.
