Job Description

Complete in-charge for operation and maintenance for gas engine power plant routine shift activity and troubleshooting, prepare generation report, comply with safety procedures within the limit and guidelines of Wartsila with the objective of meeting the contractual commitments.

Responsibilities:-

  • Take complete charge of plant mechanical systems, ensure maximum availability of engine and auxiliary equipment’s.
  • Attend schedule and unscheduled mechanical maintenance activities apart from planning/projection of necessary spares requirement.
  • To be able to carry on trouble shooting of mechanical equipment’s installed in the power plant independently.
  • Ensure timely availability of manpower/equipment and resolution of issues in order to achieve trouble free engine running.
  • To comply with safety standards at all times co-operation with clients for resources, take corrective actions, monitor staff in order to avoid accidents and damage property and life.

Education:-

  • Graduate/Diploma in mechanical engineering.

Experience:-

  • Min 6-10 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of Wartsila gas/HFO power plant.
