Job Description

Wood Mackenzie has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Creative Artworker to join a fast-paced, global Marketing team to drive change and innovation. We see graphic design as visual storytelling that informs and inspires. We’re looking for a talented individual who can translate our new brand identity into our marketing activity while making every touchpoint visually engaging and emotionally impactful. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Attention to detail is an absolute must for our senior creative artworker, ensuring our work follows our new brand guidelines and taking in-depth content and creating visually appealing, accurate work. The role needs to be able to balance multiple projects at once and to work well under pressure and often to tight deadlines following a robust set of corporate guidelines. You will also need to be proactive – our team are located globally you will be expected to manage your time effectively considering the different time zones. The position will be part of a multi-disciplined, global marketing team.

Be creative:-

  • Create on brand, clear and effective visuals for Wood Mackenzie that work in a fully integrated manner, both online and offline. Effectively visualize and create concepts, work within our guidelines on photography style, imagery, typography and iconography.

An eye for detail:-

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control for all work produced.

Be part of the team:-

  • Collaborate with the Creative team, sharing ideas, best practices, problem-solving, and participating in developing project briefs. Alongside the creative team we want you to work with multi-disciplinary teams, including Marketing, Sales and Senior Leaders.

Be a brand ambassador:-

  • to ensure design solutions follow our brand identity guidelines and maintain consistency and compliance across our design work.

Excellent organizational and planning skills:-

  • the ability to multitask and balance conflicting priorities at any one time. Manage ideas through the creative process and design workflow system Asana, ensuring stakeholders get an overview of the process, and efficient final sign-off.

Work with our stakeholders:-

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders (at all levels of seniority) to determine objectives, background information, design approaches, styles and techniques.

Able to work to tight deadlines:-

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Be proactive:-

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and with the ability to work independently

Effective communication:-

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Data visualization:-

  • Transform complex data into compelling data visualizations for social/digital media consumption that support our global marketing campaigns.

Events:-

  • Support our Global Events team by providing end-to-end creative assets for in-person and virtual events.

Powerpoint:-

  • Partner with Sales and the Account Based Marketing teams to create high-quality renewal presentations in PowerPoint.

Nice to have:-

  • Build interactive editorial content for our thought leadership programmes using the digital platforms Ceros and Optimizley.
  • Provide Pardot email coding and template design support for the Global Marketing team.

Knowledge & Experience:-

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a graphic/digital design role (agency or client side)
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications (essential)
  • Degree (or equivalent) in graphic/digital design or design related discipline
  • Experience working to brand guidelines and helping redefine these where necessary.
