Job Description

Siemens’ Energy and Performance Services (EPS) aims to run end-to-end Smart Sustainability Program through solutions in Cooling systems (HVAC, AHUs), Heating systems (Heat pumps, boilers, etc), Microgrid technologies, Energy storage solutions, Renewable energy solutions, , etc for commercial & industrial customers.
This position is for driving and developing recurring service business out of installed EPS solution base post warranty expiry, generating new AMC service businesses post contract period, additional service business arising out of existing EPS customer but from other plants and providing a single window for all mechanical and electrical services to support continued output for the customer’s decarbonization and energy efficiency projects.
This role is for identifying such customers in different locations allocated and building a bridge between EPS Solutions sales and RSS base business service sales. This position will be based out of Mumbai and focusing on offering EPS service offers based on Siemens Guidelines. This position will work closely with the EPS Sales, SER sales and EPS Solution development and to bring in commonality and building robust customer base.

  • Inspire our customers to leverage digital technology in the Mechanical services and new innovative approaches throughout their digitalization journey.
  • Develop and present digital transformation of Facility Management Services, define projects and implementation and integration recommendations that best match with the customer’s existing environment and that meet customer expectations.
  • Identify, reach, and engage key decision makers and influencers through existing relationships, networking, personal connections, client references, and industry events.
  • Develop Smart Mechanical Service Business growth plans. Generate new leads, identify and qualify opportunities to expand Service Business- Digital service & Remote Connect for existing Mechanical service customers, Data driven services such as Digital Asset monitoring, Building Performance, Energy & Asset Efficiency services, Predictive Maintenance analytics, Fault Detection & Diagnostics and Facility Improvement Measures to enhance building performance.
  • Analyze existing installed base and identify potential leads and upsell potential for Smart Mechanical services.
  • Provide accurate and current view of account penetration, sales performance and customer satisfaction including health of the funnel/pipeline. Research, develop and maintain competitive information resources.
  • Work closely with the customer and support team members to align offerings, further develop use cases, and negotiate revenue generating contracts with the goal of establishing Siemens as a trusted partner in innovation.
  • In case of customer specific development needs, collaborate with the technical team to define prototypes and proof of concepts.
  • Display a strong team-player attitude by collaborating effectively with a matrix-structured, internal network of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:-

  • Coordination and collaboration with sales, solution development team & service team groups,
  • Understanding the customer challenges and requirements, understanding the existing decarbonization / energy efficiency offering and accordingly providing solution
  • Understanding the applications for HVAC, AHUs, boilers, heat pumps, microgrid solutions, renewables such as solar, energy storage solutions, etc along with the IoT based digital solutions encompassing them
  • Promoting a solution which would be a mix of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and automation with a layer of digitalization
  • Envisaging the best solution possible to address the core challenge that the customer is facing with a focus to push for recurring continuous digital business and service business
  • Taking support of EPS solution development team in case of any technical clarity required
  • Preparing the sales calculation and offer letter,
  • Evaluating the project risks and opportunities,
  • Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers/ vendors for site visits to enable them to provide the most optimum offers,
  • Engaging with the operations team during order execution to reduce cost over-runs
  • Engage with the various Siemens cross divisional businesses to line get the best pricing for internal solutions
    Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited 4 year university (preferable Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical stream)
  • 7+ years’ experience in proposal, project or site management in customer facing roles.
  • Extreme ownership and ability to achieve results independently
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Effective collaboration in networks across businesses, vendor partners and functions
  • To demonstrate working attitude continuously by being business focus, pro-active, collaborative and with a goal to enable sales can close the deal.
  • Ability to engage with customers at multiple levels.
  • Domain knowledge in the fields of electrical concept, reading SLD and drawings, instrumentation, BOQ reading, costing, etc
