Oceaneering International Services Limited Recruitments Senior Knowledge based engineer - Grade I Job in Chandigarh, India

Position is responsible for driving engineering and non-engineering process automation. Liaison with stakeholders from various functions, understand their processes, facilitate identification of automation opportunities, gather requirements, and complete automation projects. Demonstrate strong ability to understand processes & requirements from an engineer’s perspective as well as the ability to translate them into specifications for application/software developers

Duties & Responsibilities:-

Functions:-

ESSENTIAL:-

Needs to perform following activities under minimal supervision.

Work as knowledge-based engineer to gather and understand the requirements, review feasibility, prepare execution plan and deliver the projects within estimated timeline.
Develop standalone/integrated desktop applications, Macros & Plug ins for CAD/CAE customization using .NET (C#), Python, VB, or other relevant languages.
Follow Software development life cycle process to deliver the projects.
Develop customization applications on Microsoft office suite of products.
Develop Sharepoint applications using PowerApps, Power BI etc.
Prepare work instructions, user manuals or any other documents related to job profile.
Provide post-production support as required.
Understand and comply with best coding practices to ensure high quality deliverable.
Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals.
Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives.
Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.
Understand and adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices.
This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:-

Bachelors in Engineering (preferred in Mechanical Engineering or allied branch) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:-

Experience in CAD/CAE Customization, Preferably on Solidworks and Ansys.
Language Experience: VB (.NET), VBA, C/ C++/ C#
Proven record in documentation with strong interpersonal skills
