Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Tasks  Produces instrument database from P&I diagrams.
• Is able to perform calculations for control valves, safety relief valves and orifices.
• Is able to prepare instrument specifications/datasheets, especially for field instruments and do the related technical bid evaluations.
• Checks supplier drawings.
• Wiring & Loop Drawings
• Cable schedules & block diagrams
• Supervising vendor packages
• Effective management of change
• Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines
• Works according to company/project standards, procedures and specifications.
• Is familiar with codes and standards for domestic and/or international and generally current on latest scientific and engineering methods.
• Possesses a technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process.
• Experience with the use of general application software.
• Experience with the use of Instrument Database applications (SPI / Aveva).
• Commercial awareness.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Education B.Tech / BE degree – Instrumentation or equivalent;
• Required Skills • Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
• Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
• Experience 12-20 years
• Good Communication skills, team player ·
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & word ·
• Able to deal with resistance, Meet deadlines and is able to handle changing needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of procedures. Actively develop more FEED and EPC knowledge
