Job Description

Manager – IT is responsible to oversee & manage the IT infrastructure for FIMER India. Ontime support of all IT/IS related issues through ticketing tool and co-ordinate with global team & Locally for IT hardware, networking support through authorised service provider. Co-ordinate, manage & support the SAP S4/HANA ERP and drive the SAP migration projects.

ACTIVITIES:-

  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems, IT Infrastructure, and its services.
  • Proactive management of the networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and Mobile) in both the corporate office and site offices, ensuring a suitable level of performance, security, and contingency.
  • Management and enhancement of HP and Cisco switching and routing technologies. Cisco, Checkpoint and Firewalls, wireless access points, switching, VLANS, intrusion detection and protection systems.
  • Management of and co-ordination with engineers and colleagues, prioritizing workload, tracking resource utilization.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshooting of IT Hardware’s & software’s to determine cost & productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Assess vendors and develop strategies for new hardware and software
  • Co-ordination with Global team for support and deployment IT related activities as per guidelines.
  • End to End Asset management
  • Co-ordination with ERP application team for support /development / Deployment.
  • Configuration of IT systems as per global process & deployment of the assets to employees.
  • Managing the disaster recovery, business continuity, Change Control Processes and Network Performance Monitoring Tools.
  • Monitor and manage the Information Security issues, threats, and countermeasures.

Education:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.

Experience:-

  • Approximately 5 – 7 years job experience as IT/IS

TECHNICAL SKILLS:-
MUST HAVE:-

  • An enterprising leader with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; skilled at establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders for achieving organizational and business goals.
  • Strong acumen in leading and managing IT Lifecycle based processes with key focus on Incident, Change, Problem, and IT Service Management.
  • Demonstrated excellence in creating robust IT Infrastructure; successfully managing IT Service Delivery & Project Management functions in compliance with quality, time, and cost norms.
  • Possesses strategic skills in leading technical teams and multiple projects; insightful exposure of working in a multi-cultural and matrix organization.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
  • Proven experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting large scale IT Network systems.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Experience on ERP / SAP Infrastructure Functional Support
