Senior Engineering Manager - Functional Management

In this role, you will be responsible to lead company Controls technology site, provide strategic leadership in Controls, firmware & software domain, part of System Integration of Compression trains operating in Oil & Gas industry. Role demands hands on Controls technology development and application with intense flair of people development & management working closely with stakeholders across the globe.

As a Senior Engineering Manager - Functional Management, you will be responsible for:-

• Providing Overall Technology & People leadership in Hyderabad in close coordination with multiple hubs delivering Engineering excellence, employee experience & operational leadership.
• Being responsible for people growth development from a standpoint of capability growth and strategic investments in engineering testing & validation.
• Ensuring a culture of innovation and business outcome driven development across the Org to drive market competitiveness for our products and services
• Providing engineering technical leadership to the individual module teams to ensure that goals are achieved and delivered, on world class safety, quality within the agreed time and cost.
• Ensuring the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements.
• Collaborating with Equipment application, services & External lab/universities within the India to promote cross pollination of ideas, Innovation and systems thinking.
• Working closely with key product stakeholders, to align technology and product strategies. Play a key role in Channelizing regional technology ideas to the right stakeholders, pivot and demonstrate.
• Co-ordinating, leading & motivating team of professionals promoting Compliant, safety, performance-oriented culture leveraging Baker Hughes culture values “Lead”, “Collaborate”, “Grow” “Care”

Fuel your passion, To be successful in this role you will:-

• Have Master’s in engineering discipline preferably from Electrical, Electronics, Information Science, Computer Science
• Have 12+ yrs. of experience, with prior people leadership role of engineering design management and/or technology leadership experience, including multi-discipline engineering and/or cross-functional experience.
• Have prior history of meeting quarterly/annual technology, NPI goals, including scheduled development milestones.
• Have significant design experience in the areas of turbo-machinery system integration
• Have Prior experience managing big engineering teams covering multi-disciplinary technology areas
• Have prior experience successfully anticipating risk and creating effective contingency plans.
• Have ability to drive business solutions through influence and collaboration in a global, matrix organization. An impact player with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner.
