Job Description

 Responsibilities:-

  • Manage and service a portfolio of KAM accounts across customer’s organisation to ensure long-term business partnership.
  • Together with regional sales team develops a growth strategy to drive sustainable & profitable growth.
  • Develop & nurtures customer centric culture
  • Organise quotations, follow-up on open quotations, review contract before order confirmation.
  • Maintain region’s product pricing competitiveness by monitoring competitors’ activities and get performance feedback from customers to keep abreast of their activities.
  • Participate in SOIP (Sales, Operations and Inventory Planning) activities by providing monthly demand plan and sales forecasts of materials.
  • Work closely with Systems Sales personnel on systems sales/turnkey projects.
  • Manage and monitor performance of distribution channels to ensure that controls are adhered to and sales targets achieved.
  • Ensure that all business activities conform to local laws and regulations and are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Timely update of CRM leads and opportunities.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • University Degree in Mechanical / Materials Science Engineering (Advanced education in business management / administration will be a plus)
  • Sales experience in Industrial Consumable ,Capital equipment in market segments ( Aerospace, Power Generation,Oil & Gas, Mining, Automotive etc)
  • 7 to 10 years works experience.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and local language as needed
  • Channel / Distribution sales management
  • Basic Materials chemistry and Engineering machine knowledge
  • Flexibility to travel

Required skills & expertise:-

  • Knowledge of surface treatement technologies like Welding, Thermal spray coatings ( HVOF ,Plasma Spray coating , PVD Coatings) ,Laser Cladding , Additive Manufacturing, Welding.
  • Posses an analytical mind with strong business acumen.
  • Perseverance, ability to take pressure and meet datelines.
  • Good knowledge of PC-Work (MS-Office, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Team player with good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Business development & executing a business strategy focussing on growth & profitability.
