Senior Engineer- Projects

• SW and/or HW Engineering for DCS retrofit & greenfield projects.
• Familiarization with DCS system with following,
  • Understanding of DCS/PLC architecture and ability to understand and design.
  • Understanding on Network and Network topologies
  • 3rd party interfaces/protocols
  • System installation and configuration
  • DCS commissioning and basic knowledge of field instruments.
• Understanding the DCS design with basic or detail engineering with exposure to FAT.
• Exposure in designing DCS cabinet and hardware design minimum up to 1500 IO’s.
• Exposure and understanding to projects Specifications and exposure to design reviews and technical discussion with customer and vendors.
• Understanding of the BOM and other buyouts such as (Cables, Control desk/furniture, Field Instruments, Relays, Barriers, HMI, UPS, Chargers, LVS and etc).
•  Understanding of the project cycle, time management and production phases and communication with awareness to technical risk during project execution and site activities.
• Knowledge on Third-party communication e.g., MODBUS, Profibus, OPC, Foundation Fieldbus.
• Process Knowledge Boiler / BOP / HRSG or Steam Turbine system.
• Accomplishing Process Testing of Boiler / BOP or Steam Turbine through Tie-Back Simulation.
• Developing datasheets, developing IO Schedule, Cable schedule.
• Conducting customer FAT (HW & SW)
