Senior Engineer - Product Safety

The GTC Product Safety Engineer is a key player in ensuring new upcoming automotive products are safe for consumer usage in society. He/She has the following tasks:

• Conduct functional safety analysis and verification.
• Adhereance to project milestones in respect with QCD rules
• Coordinates the activities of the Product Safety Engineers on the project
• Supports the Project Team Members for Safety Requirements implementation

Technical Mission:-

• Performs Product Safety activities on Projects in compliance with Valeo methodology: HW Safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, Reliability), Safety Concepts
• Supports the Valeo standardization processes
• Deploys the GEEDS Safety Platform and Building Blocks strategy

General Missions:-

• Enforces the application of Safety Standards in Valeo
• Ensure the compliance of projects to ISO26262 and other applicable Standards
• Active participation to the Functional Safety team process continuous improvement
• Active role in Valeo Safety Culture development

Skills:-

• Good level in documentation management
• Experience in Embedded System, Hardware or Software design: >=2 years
• Knowledge of ISO26262 is a plus
• System mindset
• Team Player
