Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Floating enquiries to get techno commercial offers in time
  • Evaluation of commercial offer received
  • Cost base analysis to arrive cost to be finalized
  • Post technical evaluation report, Negotiations with vendors
  • Contract finalization ensuring zero risk
  • Ensure availability of required documents post order for technical evaluation
  • Contract management
  • Ensuring timely delivery of material as per Project requirement including logistic
  • Preparing Procurement tracker
  • Required exposure to SAP MM Module and Ariba
  • Required exposure of Import, Export and freight forwarder
  • New vendor development
  • Periodic evaluation of vendors based on quality, delivery and cost performance
  • Payment follow-up with Finance

Qualification And Experiences:-

  • Engineer in Mechanical from a premier engineering institute in India.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Material Management preferable
  • 4 – 6 years of professional work experience in Fire Fighting Industry

Desired Skills:-

  • Strong written and verbal communication capability
  • Sound technical knowledge in terms of various manufacturing processes and related conversion costs
  • Ability to develop cost basis for various engineering products, services and packages
  • Proficiency in management reporting (using excels, power points)
  • Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Management systems, internal processes, documentation management
