Senior Engineer – Mechanical (PHE/ FF)

• Good knowledge of fire and plumbing international codes such IPC, NFPA and UAE civil defence code.
• Water supply layout/storm water design layout/drainage layout, statutory approval drawings, material take-off from layouts.
• Design of Sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems.
• Hydraulic calculations for water supply/ storage and fire water demand and pressure.
• Coordination with other MEP and structural services.
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time.
• Share knowledge and experience with other staff in the section and organisation particularly to help develop more junior staff.

Candidate Specification:-

• Must have worked on designing of Plumbing and Firefighting systems for Residential/Commercial/Infra projects.
• Engineer Civil/Mechanical equivalent in respective engineering discipline.
• Relevant years of experience in the field of design.
• Experience in drafting of drafting of plumbing layouts, Schematic diagrams and preparation of BOQ.
• Experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT and IT Literacy.
• Have good oral and written communication skills.
