Senior Engineer - Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) - Product Management - GECIA

Responsibilities:-

• Single point responsible person to drive the projects smoothly and ensure quality deliverables are provided on time and lead to successful completion of projects.
• Monitor the overall progress of projects against the schedule / slippage / risk identification and mitigation and milestones reporting to GECIA management as well as customer.
• Participate and deliver in sustenance / product improvement project/s utilizing the competence of GECIA team/s.
• Plan project execution and steer the project with the objective of delivering projects within estimated time, quality and as per customer standards/
• Produce and check the 3D assemblies, 2D drawings, etc.
• Conduct quality checks of self and team's output to achieve adherence to defined quality standards.
• Appropriate co-ordination with other competences such as CAE, Electrical design, technical documentation, etc. when needed.
• Understanding priorities, delegating projects, enabling/mentoring designers to execute the jobs with high quality and committed timeline.
• It will be your challenge to further develop & expand the scope of activities and competence within team.

Educational requirements/Experience requirements:-

• BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 5+ years of experience in design & project execution / co-ordination experience in an Industrial product with OEM organization.

Knowledge/skills requirements:-

• Strong technical knowledge.
• Accurate executor and good leadership skills.
• Thorough CAD and design knowledge.
• Able to communicate clearly about the difficulties and status of work in hand.
• Able to work on multiple projects by giving due importance to each project.
• Having a sense of urgency and sense of responsibility.
• Experience on Inventor and Autodesk Vault, Enovia will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of Dryers, Filters, Gas Generators will be an added advantage.
