Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for Senior Electrical Engineers with Infrastructure design (EHV/MV/LV) and Secondary Substation design experience to undertake engineering design roles for projects in the infrastructure sector primarily in the UK and Middle East. The candidate shall have experience in Dry utilities network design such as HV, MV, LV, Street lighting and Telecom. This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified person with an engineering consultancy or energy sector background to gain further experience within an internationally renowned consultancy.

This position is for the Networks team within the infrastructure vertical at Bangalore/Mumbai/Gurgaon.

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Calculation of Power demand/Load list as per industrial bench marking
• Preparation of Single line Diagrams (SLD) Including overall Infrastructure network
• Preparation of Substation General arrangement drawings
• Transformer sizing, cable sizing, breaker sizing, capacitor bank sizing for MV and LV system
• MV and LV network design and cable routing, Ducting and containment in 3D environment shall be having very good knowledge of Cable laying methods.
• Primary Substation and Secondary Substation location identification.
• Street lighting calculation, Street lighting network design, street lighting feeder pillar location identification and preparation LV cable schedule.
• Basic knowledge on Telecommunication systems.
• Design report for Power, and Street lighting.
• Detailed Specification of Power, and street lighting
• Must have experience in clash detection and co-ordination with other Utilities
• Experience in preparation of Basis of design, design report for the projects.
• Knowledge of Relevant Electrical Codes and Standards.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations, voltage drop and cable sizing.
• Standard drawing for dry utilities network
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
